MagicHour

I’ve just found the MagicHour iPhone app – ideal for photographers who depend on the sun. My swimwear photos happen during the late stages of the day, so I’ve been trying to find an app which shows when the sun sets, and in what direction.

True to form, this app does it. It’s not overly pretty, but the functionality makes up for that. It’s not free either, but it saves me having to look up the times online, so spending the pocket change was an easy decision. And the other joyful thing is there’s no need for an internet connection (handy when you’re scouting sites, and are in the middle of a forest with no signal).
